| First Vatika restaurant with banquet hall facilities is inaugurated at Pragati Maidan, Delhi |

| Park Balluchi, a spin-off restaurant of the Vatika Group, is launched at Hauz Khas Village, Delhi. |

| Park Balluchi gets honored with the first award for excellence among the Northern region from the Government of India, Department of tourism in the Best Restaurant category. |

| Park Balluchi gets another coveted award for excellence from Shri Krishan Kant, honorable ex-Vice President of India. |

| 1998 |
| Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India, honors Park Balluchi with the prestigious National tourism award for the Best Restaurant in India. |

| 1999 |
| The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, gives Award for Excellence in the Northern region to Park Balluchi. In the same year, a brand new South-Indian restaurant named “Pavitra” is started by the Vatika group at Hari Nagar, Delhi. |

| Park Balluchi is honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence by Shri Anant Kumar, Tourism Minister, Government of India. |

| Park Balluchi unveils its new restaurant in the plush up market area of Leisure Valley, Gurgaon. |

| Pind Balluchi, a new restaurant of its kind based on traditional village theme, starts in Gurgaon. Pind Balluchi is the biggest restaurant in the cities of Delhi and Gurgaon. |

| As Pind Balluchi gains popularity, another Pind Balluchi is opened on the Ring Road in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi |
